The Fieldays No.8 Wire National Art Awards are hosted and coordinated by Waikato museum in Hamilton. I am a friend of the Waikato Museum & got the invitation to take part. The judge, Associate Professor Linda Tyler has selected my sculpture Microcosmos as one of the 25 finalists.

Gaye Jurisich with her artwork Snare did win the first price.

The No.8 Wire National Art Award exhibition will run at the ArtisPost Galleries & Shop Hamilton from 11 May through to 9 June.
